Last week I attended a fun workshop with Hiro Kawada, a wonderful artist who used to produce illustrations and watercolours for Country Living Magazine. Her mixed media work and beautiful watercolours are inspiring. Hiro also writes a blog packed with examples of her handmade items.
The workshop was held in Mejiro in Jiyu Gakuen Myonichikan a complex of buildings designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. The main building is used for weddings and indeed as we were leaving we could see the silhouette of a happy couple in full-ceremony!
